The organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join its data team and support the development of scalable data pipelines and analytics systems. The role involves working with large-scale travel-related datasets from booking systems, customer platforms, pricing engines, and third-party APIs to support personalization, forecasting, and operational insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Integrate data from booking systems, CRM platforms, mobile apps, and analytics tools
• Develop and optimize data models in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and product teams to meet data requirements
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems
• Support real-time data streaming for pricing, inventory, and customer interactions
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards
• Maintain and improve data architecture and pipeline performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data development
• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with modern data tools such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, or similar
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with large-scale data systems
Strong knowledge of:
• ETL/ELT pipeline development and optimization
• Cloud data platforms and architecture
• Data modeling and warehousing systems
• API integrations and data streaming technologies
