About the job

  • We are looking for a Patient Care Specialist to provide exceptional patient support while ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. This role focuses on delivering a seamless patient experience through effective communication, accurate scheduling, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic, professional patient support
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including calendar optimization and double-booking when needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems
  • Handle calls, emails, and patient inquiries efficiently
  • Verify patient information and pre-visit requirements
  • De-escalate concerns with a patient-first approach
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams

Requirements

  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling
  • Knowledge of OSHA & HIPAA compliance
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Schedule:

  • 26 hours/week within 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Kenyan time)
