About the job
- We are looking for a Patient Care Specialist to provide exceptional patient support while ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. This role focuses on delivering a seamless patient experience through effective communication, accurate scheduling, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic, professional patient support
- Manage appointment scheduling, including calendar optimization and double-booking when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems
- Handle calls, emails, and patient inquiries efficiently
- Verify patient information and pre-visit requirements
- De-escalate concerns with a patient-first approach
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
Requirements
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling
- Knowledge of OSHA & HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Schedule:
- 26 hours/week within 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Kenyan time)
