About the job

  • We are an administration and consulting firm that supports retirement plans and employee benefits in the United States, primarily serving elderly populations.
  • Work modality: On-site at our Nairobi office
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven specialist with experience in U.S. retirement plans and insurance processes, focused on delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage processes related to retirement plans, including:
  • 401(k)
  • Profit Sharing
  • Cash Balance
  • Defined Benefit
  • Perform benefit verification and eligibility checks with U.S. insurance providers
  • Handle authorizations and pre-certifications with insurance companies
  • Calculate cost and contribution estimates
  • Analyze and validate client information (census data)
  • Execute tasks related to regulatory compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and forms (Form 5500, 5330, 8955)
  • Identify errors and maintain a quality standard of 95%+ accuracy (QA)
  • Track processes and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Provide timely and professional communication with clients, advisors, and insurance companies

Requirements

  • Advanced English proficiency (will be evaluated throughout the process)
  • Experience with U.S. retirement plans or employee benefits
  • Experience in benefit verification, authorizations, or insurance processes (healthcare or related fields preferred)
  • Advanced or bilingual English (required due to interaction with U.S. stakeholders)
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, calculations, data management)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills
