Job Description
Roles/Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with Chinese businesses and networks
- Acquire new clients and grow the existing client portfolio
- Grow business in deposits, trade finance, remittances, guarantees, and foreign exchange income
- Achieve targets in assets, liabilities, and non-funded income
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Chinese-speaking clients
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Chinese associations
- Serve as the main contact for client inquiries and advisory needs
- Provide high-quality customer service across all client interactions
- Develop external networks within the Chinese business ecosystem
- Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively
- Support smooth client onboarding and transaction processing
- Build strong internal relationships across departments
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) is mandatory
- Experience in banking, sales, or relationship management is an added advantage
- Understanding of trade finance and corporate banking products is desirable
- Strong relationship management skills
- Business development skills
- Cross-cultural sensitivity
- Ability to meet strict performance targets
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and competitive environment
- High integrity and professionalism
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
