Description:
Australian International School (AIS) in Sharjah is seeking a qualified and passionate Secondary Arabic for Non-Arabs Teacher to join its academic team for the 2026–2027 school year, commencing in August 2026. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced educator who is committed to language development, cultural understanding, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective Arabic language lessons to non-Arab secondary students
• Plan, prepare, and assess student learning in accordance with curriculum requirements
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
• Promote cultural awareness and language appreciation among students
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic, Education, or a related field
• Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Arabic to non-Arab students at the secondary level
• Strong English language communication skills
• Previous experience in an international school environment preferred
• Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum is considered an advantage
• Strong knowledge of:
• Arabic language instruction for non-native speakers
• Secondary-level teaching methodologies
• Student assessment and curriculum planning
• Classroom management and educational technology
