Description:

AJ Steel is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resources functions within its Abu Dhabi operations. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic HR professional with extensive Gulf experience and in-depth knowledge of UAE Labour Law, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping HR strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening employee engagement, and supporting business growth through effective workforce planning and people management initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and business objectives.

• Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including workforce planning, hiring, and onboarding processes.

• Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, and investigations.

• Design, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

• Oversee performance management programs, employee appraisals, goal-setting processes, and development initiatives.

• Manage compensation and benefits programs, payroll administration, and salary benchmarking activities.

• Drive employee engagement, retention programs, and workplace culture initiatives.

• Lead learning and development activities, training programs, succession planning, and career development efforts.

• Maintain accurate HR records, employee documentation, and reporting systems.

• Oversee visa processing, labour contracts, employee documentation, and government-related compliance requirements.

• Provide leadership with HR analytics, workforce planning insights, and strategic recommendations.

• Manage offboarding procedures, exit interviews, and final settlements in accordance with UAE Labour Law.

• Foster an inclusive, professional, and performance-driven work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience with strong Gulf or UAE market exposure.

• Proven experience in a Senior HR Manager or similar leadership position.

• Extensive knowledge of UAE Labour Law and human resources best practices.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Professional certifications such as CIPD or SHRM are considered an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple HR functions while supporting business growth objectives.

• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
