Job Description
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business, or related field
- 2-3 years' experience in Medical, Travel, Group Life underwriting
- Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and compliance
- High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and proficiency in MS Office / underwriting systems
Key Responsibilities
- Medical, Travel & Life Underwriting: Handle additions/deletions, issue quotations, debit/credit notes, medical cards, travel covers, and group life scheme updates in line with underwriting guidelines.
- Client & Insurer Coordination: Liaise with insurers and clients on documentation, reconciliations, policy issuance, and follow-ups to ensure timely service delivery.
- Compliance & Documentation: Review quotations and risk notes, maintain accurate underwriting records, ensure confidentiality, and enforce approved payment processes.
- Operational Support: Support departmental operations during peak periods and perform additional duties as assigned.
