Position Context
We are seeking a highly resourceful, dual-skilled Web Manager to take absolute technical and creative ownership of our corporate digital platforms in Nairobi. Your primary objective is to maintain an immaculate, secure, and fast-loading web ecosystem while producing striking visual assets that capture consumer engagement. This position directly bridges web engineering with modern brand design; you will manage everything from background security patches, server communications, and HTML/CSS styling modifications to designing high-conversion ad banners, landing pages, and email marketing layouts. The role demands an agile, detail-oriented professional who can look at data analytics to optimize search engine positioning (SEO) while maintaining strict visual alignment across all public-facing platforms.
Operational Functions
Web Administration & System Optimization
- Oversee the daily performance, core codebase updates, and functional security of all corporate web domains.
- Execute methodical backup protocols, database optimization, and cross-plugin version audits to stop system vulnerabilities.
- Test layout performance continuously across varying screen breakpoints, mobile viewports, and browser versions to preserve a fluid user experience.
- Deploy advanced caching rules, asset minification frameworks, and image compression metrics to maximize loading speeds.
Content Configuration & Campaign Deployment
- Publish, layout, and structure text copy, product specs, corporate media updates, and inventory changes via the WordPress CMS.
- Code and structure custom, highly responsive landing pages to act as the primary endpoints for high-intent marketing initiatives.
- Audit all public site pages continuously to isolate and fix broken links, missing image assets, or typographical errors.
- Partner with commercial departments to synchronize front-end product promotions with active inventory cycles.
Digital Graphic Design & Brand Alignment
- Conceptualize and create visual graphics for website layouts, promotional hero banners, social profiles, and digital ad sets.
- Format and touch up raw corporate photography assets, balancing color weight and size dimensions for rapid web delivery.
- Enforce absolute brand consistency, ensuring standard use of colors, font hierarchies, logo variations, and style configurations.
- Produce layout templates for direct email marketing runs and corporate newsletters to drive brand memory.
Technical Support & Search Optimization
- Conduct structural on-page search engine optimization (SEO), tweaking metadata, header tags, image alt properties, and sitemaps.
- Investigate script conflicts, formatting bugs, and hosting bottlenecks, coordinating directly with external server providers for fast resolution.
- Monitor site uptime logs and tracking codes, translating user behavior analytics into actionable monthly performance briefs.
- Deliver simple technical advice to internal content contributors regarding daily media upload and text entry rules.

Minimum Entry Criteria
- Academic Foundation: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a matching technical discipline.
- Industry Longevity: Minimum of 2 years of progressive, verified experience managing corporate website architectures and production content management systems.
- Design Capabilities: Proven background producing professional marketing graphics, utilizing standard industry illustration and vector software suites.
