Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Assistant in Al Ain, you will help manage the movement of materials and finished products through a fast-paced FMCG warehouse. Your work—from checking incoming deliveries to preparing orders for dispatch—supports production schedules and helps ensure goods are stored safely, accurately, and ready when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload incoming raw and packaging materials, then check quantities and condition against purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Quality Control on inspection and sampling of received materials.
• Store and segregate materials appropriately, keeping them accessible in line with production requirements.
• Handle finished-goods storage, picking, loading, and preparation for outbound dispatch.
• Apply FEFO procedures and carry out daily and ongoing inventory counts to help maintain stock accuracy.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and follow applicable safety, hygiene, and material-handling procedures.
• Complete and maintain daily shift reports covering warehouse activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Higher Secondary Education or above.
• Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse or FMCG setting; the required number of years of experience is not specified.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory counting.
• Understanding of material handling, suitable storage and segregation, and FEFO stock rotation.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety, housekeeping, and hygiene practices.
• Accuracy in checking stock and maintaining records, including routine reports.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
