Cleaning Supervisor

Role Overview

The Cleaning Supervisor will organise the cleaning team’s daily work across bakery facilities in Abu Dhabi, making sure production and shared areas are kept clean, safe and hygienic. This role helps support consistent sanitation practices in a food production setting by checking completed work, coaching staff and addressing cleaning needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate daily cleaning duties and coordinate the work of cleaning staff.
• Check bakery areas to confirm they meet required hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Follow up on cleaning schedules and verify that assigned tasks are completed properly and on time.
• Guide and train team members on cleaning procedures and workplace expectations.
• Maintain an orderly work environment and flag safety or cleanliness concerns.
• Identify cleaning supplies or facility needs and report them to the appropriate team.
• Support compliance with workplace cleanliness policies through regular supervision.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising cleaning operations or a cleaning team.
• Practical knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety standards, preferably in a bakery or food production environment.
• Ability to assign work, monitor performance and support staff in completing daily duties.
• Clear communication and team leadership skills.
• Experience maintaining cleanliness across operational or facility areas.
• No specific education qualification is stated.
• Indian nationality, particularly candidates from Kerala, is preferred.
