Role Overview
You will be the voice and face of our digital content, working from our Meru studio to turn written scripts into engaging audio and video pieces. Your day-to-day involves preparing for recordings, performing voice-overs across different formats, and appearing on camera to hold viewer attention. Your work directly supports our production team in delivering polished, professional content that connects with audiences and meets project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver voice-over recordings that match the tone, pacing, and intent of each script provided by our directors.
- Present confidently in front of the camera, communicating messages clearly and naturally to keep viewers engaged.
- Break down scripts before recording to identify emotional cues, key messages, and the most effective delivery style.
- Maintain professional conduct during studio sessions, including arriving prepared, hitting cue points, and adjusting quickly to direction.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project objectives, offering creative input on delivery and timing to improve production quality.
- Switch seamlessly between genres such as documentaries, commercials, presentations, and promotional materials, adapting your vocal approach to suit each project.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Fresh graduate in media, communication, performing arts, or a related field, with demonstrated ability in voice-over or on-camera work.
- Exceptional voice-over talent, including clear diction, precise pronunciation, and strong enunciation across different styles.
- Natural charisma and confidence when presenting, with the ability to engage viewers through tone, facial expression, and body language.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret scripts and convey the right emotion and information to the audience.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment, taking feedback constructively and iterating quickly.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, bringing originality and authenticity to every performance.
- Bonus: Familiarity with recording equipment and audio/video editing software such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
