Role Overview

This Digital Video Editor role focuses on transforming raw footage into polished video that works across social, campaign, and digital channels. You will edit both short-form and long-form projects, guiding each piece from first assembly to final export while adapting it for the platform where it will appear. The work supports marketing and brand goals by keeping video output consistent, timely, and aligned with how audiences watch on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional pieces, and digital platforms.
• Create platform-specific versions for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and branded elements to finished edits.
• Improve video and audio quality through cleanup, color correction, level balancing, and other post-production fixes.
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple social-ready clips with clear hooks and strong pacing.
• Use AI-powered video editing tools to speed up tasks such as transcription, clip selection, audio cleanup, and upscaling.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing team members, incorporate feedback, and manage several projects against deadlines.
• Keep project files, exports, and versions organized so assets are easy to find and reuse.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional video editing experience.
• A strong portfolio or reel showcasing previous editing work across social media and digital formats.
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut Pro.
• Proven ability to edit social media content, with an understanding of pacing, aspect ratios, captions, and platform-native styles.
• Strong storytelling instincts and creative judgment in shaping footage into engaging narratives.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of edits, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Runway, Descript, Topaz Video AI, Canva, ElevenLabs, and motion graphics.
