Virtual Payment Advisor-Queue

Role Overview

As a Virtual Payment Advisor, you’ll connect remotely with small businesses to understand how they take payments and manage cash flow, then guide them toward suitable merchant services and treasury management options. Your work supports business growth by developing client relationships, moving prospects through the sales process, and helping customers get started with the solutions they choose.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact and qualify small-business prospects for merchant services and treasury management solutions.
• Ask about clients’ payment and cash-management needs, then recommend appropriate products such as card processing services.
• Guide prospective customers from initial conversation through sales follow-up and product activation.
• Build, maintain, and grow client relationships by responding to questions and identifying additional needs.
• Coordinate with branch staff and internal partners to share leads and develop sales opportunities.
• Track sales activity and pipeline progress, communicating relevant updates to internal teams.
• Apply knowledge of payment products, industry requirements, and risk considerations when advising clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Associate degree.
• Less than one year of professional experience is preferred; sales experience is valued, particularly in merchant services or treasury management.
• Ability to identify prospective customers, uncover business needs, and build productive client relationships.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while working toward sales goals.
• Comfort handling customer conversations and follow-up in a virtual work setting.
• Familiarity with payment solutions, small-business sales, or financial services is useful.
• Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
