Description:
Stello Products, Inc., an established sign manufacturer with decades of industry experience, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Bookkeeper to support its remote finance operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting activities, and ensuring smooth financial processes that support the company’s continued success.
The successful candidate will handle daily bookkeeping tasks, financial reconciliations, reporting, and administrative support for the finance department. This remote opportunity requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily financial transactions and complete accounting posting activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Process payroll activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain the general ledger and organize financial documentation.
• Assist with tax preparation requirements and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting position.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping procedures and accounting operations.
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliations.
• QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, and accounting technology.
• Financial reporting, payroll processing, and record management.
