Role Overview
You will join a close-knit Training and Operations function, where your primary focus is elevating team performance through practical, engaging learning experiences. Every day involves facilitating sessions, refining training materials, and working closely with frontline teams to turn knowledge into measurable behaviour change. This role matters because it directly shapes how confidently and consistently the wider organisation performs in fast-paced, customer-facing and financial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive training sessions to groups of varying sizes, maintaining high energy and strong participant engagement throughout.
- Collaborate with Training and Operations colleagues to build, review, and continuously improve training content, ensuring it stays relevant to real business needs.
- Assess learner progress using structured evaluations, then provide constructive, actionable feedback that supports individual growth.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis and quality assurance reviews to identify skills gaps, weak points, and emerging performance issues.
- Design and run refresher and remedial training interventions for teams or individuals who need extra support in specific areas.
- Introduce fresh ideas and digital learning tools that make training more accessible, interactive, and effective.
- Partner with team leaders to translate training outcomes into visible on-the-ground performance improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field.
- At least three years of experience in Training and Development, ideally within a financial services or operations-heavy environment.
- Proven field experience in retail, including managing or leading high-performing teams, is a strong advantage.
- Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills, with the confidence to command a room while also being approachable and empathetic.
- Strong coaching and listening abilities, especially when it comes to giving honest, supportive feedback that drives improvement.
- A proactive, self-directed mindset — able to spot problems and take initiative without waiting for direction.
- Solid command of digital learning tools, Excel, and presentation software to create polished, data-informed training solutions.
- Genuine belief that effective training changes behaviour and outcomes, not just checks a compliance box.
