Role Overview

Our client, a premier fintech firm specializing in customizable payment solutions, is seeking a high-caliber Technical Lead to serve as the Senior Technical Operations Manager. This is a strategic leadership role designed for an expert who can bridge the gap between complex engineering and business vision. You will be responsible for defining the technology stack, driving product strategy, and managing the operational efficiency of scalable, secure systems. Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Engineering Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s technology vision, ensuring full alignment with business goals and product strategy.

• Mentor and lead high-performing engineering teams, fostering an environment of accountability and professional growth.

• Set measurable departmental objectives and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure continuous development of technical leads.

• Serve as a primary advisor on technical excellence, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Technical Operations & System Infrastructure

• Direct daily technical operations to guarantee system reliability, high uptime, and long-term scalability.

• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of critical databases and applications, specifically within .NET Framework, .NET Core, and SQL Server environments.

• Manage both Linux and Windows server environments, implementing best practices for performance and security.

• Identify and resolve complex operational bottlenecks while establishing proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance protocols.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support

• Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Support Project Managers in resource planning and prioritization to ensure engineering resources are allocated effectively.

• Establish efficient processes for cross-functional communication and incident management.

• Provide technical oversight to ensure successful project delivery within realistic timelines.

Security, Compliance & Data Governance

• Ensure all systems meet stringent regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the fintech industry.

• Implement and maintain advanced security protocols to safeguard infrastructure and sensitive financial data.

• Report key performance metrics and operational insights to senior leadership regularly.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures and issue resolutions to ensure knowledge continuity.

Professional Prerequisites

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in technical operations, systems management, or software development, preferably within the fintech or financial services sector.

• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as Java or C#.

• Database & Systems: Strong knowledge of relational database design, SQL Server optimization, and proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.

• Preferred Assets: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities and the skill to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
