Role Overview
As Team Lead, Digital Sales, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of our digital sales channels, ensuring each campaign and touchpoint drives measurable revenue. You’ll work alongside a small, focused team to refine outreach methods, experiment with new online acquisition tactics, and transform raw data into clear action plans. This role matters because your leadership directly shapes how effectively we convert digital traffic into long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the daily workflow of the digital sales team, setting individual and group targets aligned with quarterly revenue goals.
- Analyse channel performance (email, social ads, paid search, webinars) to identify underperforming segments and rapidly reallocate spend or effort.
- Coach and mentor team members on sales scripting, objection handling, and digital prospecting techniques to raise conversion rates.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure lead handoffs are seamless and that content supports sales conversations at every funnel stage.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on key metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion by source) and present insights to senior leadership.
- Own the sales technology stack (CRM, automation tools, analytics dashboards), recommending and implementing improvements to streamline operations.
- Lead regular pipeline reviews, forecast accuracy checks, and proactive upskilling sessions to maintain a high-performing culture.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in digital sales or a hybrid sales/marketing role, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through digital channels (e.g., outbound email, LinkedIn, paid media, or e‑commerce).
- Hands-on proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable sales strategies without over‑reliance on dashboards.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills – you can give constructive feedback that actually changes behaviour.
- Comfort with fast‑paced experimentation: you’re willing to test new channels or messaging and pivot quickly based on results.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
What We Offer / Why Join
This role provides the opportunity to directly shape the digital sales playbook while developing your leadership skills in a growth‑oriented environment. You’ll have autonomy to iterate on processes and access to the tools needed to measure impact in real time.
