Supply Chain Executive – Order Fulfilment Logistics

Role Overview

This role leads the order fulfilment and logistics function, taking charge of the full journey from customer order through dispatch to final delivery. You will spend your days balancing team leadership with hands-on analysis, using ERP data to remove bottlenecks and keep service levels high. The position is critical because accurate, on-time, and cost-efficient delivery directly shapes customer satisfaction and the company's bottom line.

Key Responsibilities

• Use OTIF, order accuracy, delivery cycle time, and backlog data to steer daily performance and spot trends that need attention.
• Take charge of resolving customer issues arising from order processing, dispatch, and delivery, using root-cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Keep transport and logistics spend in check through close attention to vehicle fill rates, route planning, and how well third-party carriers perform.
• Build and guide the order processing, dispatch, and logistics team, creating a culture of ownership and precision while ensuring agreed performance targets are met.
• Push forward automation and digital transformation projects that touch order processing, dispatch, proof-of-delivery (POD) workflows, and logistics operations.
• Spot routine, manual tasks ripe for automation or simplification, and quantify the gains in terms of hours saved, lower costs, quicker cycle times, and reduced mistakes.
• Make full use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRM, and other digital platforms to sharpen process visibility, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
• Deliver regular performance reporting, uncover operational shortfalls, and put corrective and continuous-improvement measures in place.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Procurement & Supplies Management, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of five years in a relevant supply chain or logistics role, ideally gained in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with some of that time spent in a senior capacity.
• Solid grounding in inventory management techniques, particularly ABC analysis and cycle counting.
• High proficiency with inventory management software.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another comparable ERP platform would be a plus.
• Strong analytical, logistical, and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
