Arar Infra Contracting is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to support its infrastructure and construction projects across the UAE. The company is looking for a results-driven professional with a solid background in procurement operations within the construction contracting sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. A strong understanding of the UAE construction market and procurement practices is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement activities for infrastructure and construction projects.
• Source materials, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring timely deliveries.
• Monitor procurement costs and maintain effective coordination with project teams and vendors.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4–6 years of UAE experience in procurement.
• Experience in the Infrastructure & Construction Contracting industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement procedures.
• Experience in vendor negotiation, sourcing, purchase orders, and cost control.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of the UAE construction market is essential.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction procurement processes.
• Vendor management and supplier negotiations.
• Cost control and purchase order management.
