Role Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll move stock through the warehouse carefully and efficiently, helping keep goods accessible and work areas orderly. Your attention to load stability, clear aisles, and safe equipment use will help protect people, products, and shelving.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to transport and position heavy stock within the warehouse.
- Handle loads with care to avoid damaging products, pallets, racks, or nearby equipment.
- Keep aisles and working areas clear while moving goods.
- Watch for hazards and adjust movements to maintain a safe environment.
- Follow safe operating practices when maneuvering around people and warehouse fixtures.
- Help maintain an organized warehouse floor by placing stock carefully.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current forklift certification.
- Demonstrated skill and care operating a forklift with heavy loads.
- Good awareness of surroundings and the ability to identify potential hazards.
- A safety-conscious approach to handling stock and working in a warehouse.
