Experience: 2–3 years in Stock Control (Manufacturing/FMCG preferred)

Education: Minimum C+ in KCSE (B Plain in Maths); Diploma in Supply Chain is an advantage

 

Inventory & Coordination Mandate

We are looking for a high-integrity Stock Controller to manage the physical and digital movement of bottle inventory across our Mombasa facility. You will act as the gatekeeper for our stores—overseeing the receiving yard, dirty store, and clean store—ensuring that every unit is accounted for, sorted correctly, and processed efficiently.

Primary Accountabilities

Your daily focus is the reconciliation of physical stock with our digital records. You will supervise teams of casual workers in the sorting and washing processes, verify supplier deliveries against documentation, and ensure that all movements are captured accurately in the Odoo ERP system. Additionally, you will handle the essential administrative task of computing weekly wages for the production team based on their output.

Professional Prerequisites

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo highly preferred) and advanced MS Excel skills for data tracking.

  • Mathematical Acumen: A solid foundation in numbers (Minimum B plain in Mathematics) is essential for accurate stock counts and wage computations.

  • Leadership Ability: Experience managing teams of casual staff and coordinating high-volume warehouse activities.

  • Operational Discipline: A meticulous approach to inventory labeling, stacking, and housekeeping standards.

Scope of Work

  • Inward Logistics: Receiving and verifying bottle shipments against delivery notes, ensuring quality and SKU classification.

  • Process Supervision: Overseeing decapping, washing, and packaging workflows to ensure finished products meet company standards.

  • ERP Management: Generating sales orders, gate passes, and delivery notes while maintaining real-time inventory levels in Odoo.

  • Staff Administration: Reconciling physical production quantities with wage claims and addressing employee inquiries regarding payments.

  • Health & Safety: Enforcing strict PPE usage and safety protocols across the receiving and storage yards.
