About the Role
Are you passionate about wellness and creating serene, memorable experiences for guests? JW Marriott Nairobi is looking for a courteous, attentive, and detail-oriented Spa Attendant to join our Spa & Wellness team. In this important role, you will help maintain a clean, tranquil, and luxurious spa environment, ensuring that every guest enjoys the relaxing, rejuvenating experience that JW Marriott Nairobi is known for. Your warm hospitality and commitment to service will support our therapists and elevate every moment of the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, lounges, and relaxation spaces.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all supplies and amenities are fully stocked and presented to luxury standards.
- Assist guests with changing areas, lockers, robes, slippers, and refreshments.
- Monitor spa inventory and report replenishment needs to the supervisor.
- Support therapists by preparing equipment and products as needed.
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
- Provide information to guests about spa services, facilities, and packages.
- Maintain a calm and serene atmosphere throughout the spa.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a spa, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional grooming and presentation in line with luxury brand standards.
- Knowledge of gym operations and fitness equipment will be an added advantage.
