Danniyeh is looking for an experienced and proactive Sourcing Specialist to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will oversee international sourcing activities for textiles, garments, uniforms, accessories, promotional products, and corporate gifts while building strong relationships with global suppliers.
This role requires extensive experience in supplier management, international procurement, price negotiations, and import/export coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments to ensure quality products are sourced at competitive prices and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Manage the complete sourcing cycle, including quotations, price negotiations, sample approvals, and supplier selection.
• Source products and materials from China, India, and other international markets.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, lead times, and logistics arrangements.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with production, design, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain supplier databases, pricing records, and sourcing reports.
• Support import/export documentation, shipping, customs, and logistics activities when required.
• Stay informed about global market trends, new materials, and sourcing opportunities.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international sourcing, preferably within textiles, garments, uniforms, or corporate gifting.
• Proven sourcing experience in China and India.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garments, accessories, packaging, and product quality standards.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms, freight, and logistics.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
• Ability to travel internationally when required.
• Available for immediate joining.
