Role Overview
This position centres on hands-on delivery of Ericsson’s Communication Services portfolio, spanning CS Core and IMS domains. You will translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals, then drive those designs through deployment, testing, and acceptance. Your work directly shapes delivery quality, customer confidence, and the commercial success of Ericsson’s communication services business.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and deploy Communication Services products across CS Core and IMS environments.
- Plan and execute system tests, module tests, and acceptance tests to verify solution performance and readiness.
- Partner with business stakeholders to review delivery processes, identify gaps, and drive practical improvements.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues that emerge during product delivery, working collaboratively with the wider team.
- Create, maintain, and update solution documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide structured feedback to R&D teams on potential portfolio enhancements based on field experience.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing across teams and with customers.
- Monitor emerging technologies and share solution insights that help customers build their own competence.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in communication services delivery or a closely related technical role.
- Proven experience delivering and implementing cloud infrastructure or software virtualisation solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of CS Core portfolio elements such as MSC-S, MGW, and CTC.
- Working familiarity with IMS portfolio components including MTAS, CSCF, SBC, MRF, DNS, and ENUM.
- Understanding of Cloud and NFVI technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and networks.
- Business acumen and a results-driven mindset, supported by strong planning and organising abilities.
- Ability to innovate, adapt, and respond constructively to change.
- Additional programming skills are considered a plus.
