Solar Design & Proposal Technician

Job Title: Designs & Proposals Technician (Solar PV)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our technical team at Safer Power Limited (part of Safer Power Group). The successful candidate will assist in designing solar PV systems, preparing technical proposals, and supporting project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and sizing of Solar PV systems (off-grid, hybrid, and grid-tied).
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for clients.
• Conduct site surveys and data collection to inform design parameters.
• Generate system drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams using relevant software.
• Support the technical team during project implementation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system design, proposals, or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong understanding of solar system components and electrical design principles.
• Good report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
