Role Overview
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will keep enterprise network environments running reliably by designing, maintaining and troubleshooting the infrastructure that connects users, systems and sites. Working on-site in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, you will also help technical teams deliver network changes while protecting performance, availability and security throughout a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support routing and switching across LAN and WAN environments.
- Monitor network health, investigate connectivity issues and restore service when problems arise.
- Apply practical knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF to support routing operations and fault diagnosis.
- Maintain secure, stable network services and address risks affecting availability or performance.
- Coordinate with technical colleagues on network upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Check that network operations meet applicable organisational standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least eight years of relevant network engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise routing and switching, LAN/WAN architecture and network troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet or comparable enterprise networking platforms.
- A relevant networking certification, such as CCNA, CCNP or an equivalent qualification.
- Availability for a 12-month contract and the ability to work on-site five days per week in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
