Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

MenaLead is hiring a Full Stack Developer in Abu Dhabi to build and look after web applications from the user interface through to the server-side services and data layer. You’ll handle ongoing improvements as well as operational work—such as investigating faults, preparing releases and keeping sites secure and responsive—so the applications remain dependable for their users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance front-end and back-end features for web applications.
• Create responsive pages that work consistently across browsers and devices.
• Connect applications to APIs and maintain the databases that support them.
• Investigate bugs and service issues, identify their causes and implement fixes.
• Improve page speed, application security and general website health.
• Prepare and manage deployments, staging environments, backups and monitoring.
• Use Git to track code changes and support collaborative development workflows.
• Apply AI-assisted coding tools where useful to support development and troubleshooting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in full stack web development; a specific number of years is not stated.
• Front-end skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Back-end development experience, including integrating APIs.
• Working knowledge of database management, web security and performance optimisation.
• Experience debugging, maintaining and troubleshooting websites or web applications.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Git, deployment workflows, staging, backups and application monitoring.
• Knowledge of technical SEO and website health practices.
• Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Self-directed, attentive to detail and able to take technical issues from investigation through resolution.
• Formal education requirements are not specified. Availability to start immediately or at short notice is preferred.
