Role Overview
This Senior Marketing Manager position drives the full marketing agenda for Moringa's training offerings targeting working professionals and corporate clients. Day to day, you translate market data into effective positioning, design and oversee campaigns, and ensure each product line hits its revenue targets. This role is critical to aligning marketing with sales, product, and customer experience to create a cohesive go-to-market machine that consistently delivers growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the marketing strategy for two product segments, tying all activities to quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Mentor and manage the Product Marketing Manager, providing commercial oversight on positioning and launch plans.
- Lead go-to-market efforts for new and existing programs, collaborating with Product to validate value propositions and commercial viability.
- Own the marketing budget for the product portfolio, allocating spend across channels based on performance data and ROI.
- Develop and maintain detailed buyer personas and journey maps for key decision-makers, and produce regular competitive analysis reports to inform strategy.
- Direct paid media campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn, while collaborating with the digital team to optimize email and content strategies across the customer lifecycle.
- Equip Sales and Admissions teams with training, pitch materials, and case studies to improve conversion effectiveness and alignment with customer needs.
- Monitor customer sentiment across social media and support channels, feeding insights back into marketing and retention strategies to protect NPS.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA is a strong plus.
- At least eight years of marketing experience, ideally in EdTech, Fintech, or E-commerce environments.
- A minimum of two to three years in a people-management or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing significant marketing budgets and hitting customer acquisition targets from early to scaled stages.
- Solid understanding of both B2B and B2C sales cycles and how marketing supports the sales funnel.
- Demonstrated ability to improve key funnel metrics such as cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value.
- Strategic thinking combined with strong execution skills, comfort working across multiple product workstreams simultaneously, and experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.
