Job Description

Role Overview

This role leads marketing for two distinct product lines—working professionals and corporate training—owning both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of acquisition campaigns, go-to-market plans, and budget allocation. Every week involves translating market research into clear positioning, overseeing a direct report’s product marketing work, and collaborating with sales, product, and admissions teams to ensure each offering has a compelling narrative and a measurable path to revenue. Success here means the marketing engine consistently produces qualified leads while keeping spend efficient and messaging aligned with what buyers actually need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the annual marketing strategy for the working professionals and corporate training segments, tying each initiative to quarterly revenue goals and pipeline targets.
  • Supervise the Product Marketing Manager for working professionals, guiding their positioning work and ensuring all go-to-market plans have a solid commercial rationale.
  • Build and launch go-to-market plans for new programmes and major updates, partnering with product managers to validate that proposed positioning and value propositions truly resonate with customers.
  • Own the full marketing budget across both product lines, allocating funds to the highest-return acquisition channels and regularly reallocating spend based on performance data and ROI analysis.
  • Maintain detailed buyer personas and journey maps for HR directors, CIOs, L&D managers, and working professionals; use these insights to shape both marketing campaigns and sales processes.
  • Author and update a competitive landscape report on a regular cadence, becoming the internal authority on how competitors position themselves and where gaps exist.
  • Direct paid media strategy across Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and third-party partners as a primary acquisition lever; also collaborate with the digital team to align email CRM campaigns with the full customer lifecycle, focusing on activation, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Equip the sales and admissions teams with battle cards, pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies; train them on the problems Moringa solves and coach them on when and how to use each piece of collateral.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA considered a plus.
  • Eight or more years of professional marketing experience with a proven track record in product marketing, growth marketing, or commercial marketing—preferably within edtech, fintech, e‑commerce, or a similar fast‑paced sector.
  • At least two to three years in a leadership or people‑management capacity, with demonstrable experience developing direct reports.
  • Hands‑on ownership of marketing budgets, customer acquisition targets, and go‑to‑market launches from initial concept through mature, scaled execution.
  • Deep understanding of both B2B and B2C sales cycles and how marketing aligns with sales to move prospects through the funnel.
  • Proven ability to improve key funnel metrics such as cost per lead, cost per acquisition, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and churn rate while managing budget efficiency.
  • Strong commercial acumen, data‑driven decision‑making, and comfort presenting growth insights and budget recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional cross‑functional stakeholder management skills, particularly with product, sales, design, and community teams.
  • Highly organised, able to juggle multiple product workstreams and budgets simultaneously, and comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on.
