Role Overview
This senior FP&A position turns financial and operational information into forecasts, performance insights and recommendations that guide business decisions. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to explain what is driving results, assess future scenarios and present a clear financial narrative for executive and Board-level discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Analyse actual performance against plans, identify key variances and explain the factors behind them.
- Use financial and operational data to evaluate business trends, opportunities and risks.
- Prepare concise analysis and presentations that help senior stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Apply FP&A and enterprise performance management systems, Power BI and data analytics tools to strengthen reporting and analysis.
- Use AI tools, including Claude, to automate and improve financial analysis.
- Communicate financial findings with the commercial insight and confidence needed to influence senior leaders and Board-level decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least five years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in fintech, lending or financial services.
- CPA(K) or ACCA qualification.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong capability with FP&A or EPM systems, Power BI and data analytics.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as Claude to automate or enhance financial analysis.
- Commercial judgement, clear communication and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through effective financial storytelling.
