Role Overview
This accounting role supports the financial operations of a fast-moving business, helping maintain accurate records and dependable reporting. The successful candidate will bring practical experience in Kenya’s FMCG market, including accounting exposure to both General Trade and Modern Trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support routine financial reporting.
- Apply accounting knowledge to transactions and operating activity in a high-volume business environment.
- Support accounting processes connected to General Trade and Modern Trade operations.
- Help ensure financial information is complete, consistent, and prepared in a timely manner.
- Work with relevant teams to address accounting queries and support day-to-day finance operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- At least CPA Part 2 or the equivalent intermediate CPA level completed.
- Three to five years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Experience in a high-velocity FMCG environment in Kenya, including exposure to both General Trade and Modern Trade.
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, agribusiness, or retail is strongly preferred.
