- Structure and execute trade finance transactions such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections, while managing all related banking documentation.
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, coordinating the audit process, resolving queries, and driving implementation of audit recommendations.
- Lead the implementation of a new ERP accounting system, ensuring accurate data migration, user adoption, and an unbroken audit trail throughout the transition.
- Perform due diligence, KYC, and AML checks on new and existing counterparties, ensuring alignment with company risk policies and local regulations.
- Deliver financial oversight for regional operations in the DRC, Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique, producing variance analysis and presenting actionable insights to senior management.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate compliance, and statutory reporting requirements, including familiarity with DRC financial legislation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with practical involvement in system implementation or migration projects.
- Proven experience in treasury management, including cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and maintaining relationships with local and regional banks.
- Hands-on experience with trade finance instruments, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
- Demonstrated ability to support financial operations in Tanzania, Kenya, or Mozambique, with knowledge of local tax, banking, and regulatory environments.
- Fluency in English and Swahili is required; proficiency in Somali is an added advantage.
