Role Overview

The Senior Exports Supervisor owns the daily rhythm of export operations, ensuring every shipment meets regulatory standards and customer timelines. This role connects documentation, customs clearance, and transport teams while directly managing a team to hit performance goals. By resolving service gaps and supporting new business pitches, the supervisor keeps export workflows efficient and client relationships strong.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end export process, verifying that all customer orders are executed on time and accurately.
• Coordinate documentation, customs filing, shipping bookings, and warehouse handoffs to avoid delays.
• Track operational KPIs daily and step in with corrective actions when targets slip.
• Maintain trusted client relationships by resolving complaints promptly and conducting regular service reviews.
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, KRA requirements, and company procedures; prepare bond returns and support audits.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational performance and trend analysis.
• Support business development by preparing quotations, operational proposals, and onboarding new customer accounts.
• Lead the exports team through work allocation, coaching, performance discussions, and capability building.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in export operations, with a solid understanding of shipping and customs processes.
• A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, directly managing a team and driving productivity.
• Working knowledge of customs regulations, KRA requirements, and statutory documentation (e.g., bond returns).
• Proven ability to monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, and implement process improvements.
• Strong client service orientation with experience handling escalations and conducting service reviews.
