  • Fit patients with orthodontic devices and instruct them on proper use and care.
  • Adjust appliances during scheduled appointments to apply the correct forces and guide tooth movement safely.
  • Continuously evaluate the health of teeth and surrounding periodontal tissues throughout the course of treatment.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene routines and retention practices to preserve results after treatment ends.
  • Explain treatment options, anticipated timelines, costs, and expected outcomes so patients can make informed decisions.
  • Coordinate care with general dentists and oral surgeons to ensure orthodontic treatment supports the overall treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, including patient histories, progress notes, and photographic documentation.
  • Stay informed on emerging orthodontic techniques and technologies to enhance treatment quality.
  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards in every aspect of patient care.
