Description:

SVRS General Trading LLC is currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records across multiple entities within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in handling multi-entity accounting operations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting, along with the ability to support group consolidation and compliance requirements.

Job Purpose:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across multiple business entities

• Ensure integrity and reliability of accounting data and financial reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation support

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions for assigned entities

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and generate trial balances

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations

• Ensure proper classification and recording of expenses and revenues

Intercompany Accounting

• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances accurately

• Ensure proper elimination entries during consolidation processes

• Coordinate with other group entities to maintain alignment and accuracy

• Issue invoices for intercompany cross-charges as required

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Support group-level consolidation and reporting activities

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file VAT returns and other statutory filings

• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal company policies

• Assist in audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support

Systems & Process Management

• Maintain accurate financial records within ERP and accounting systems

• Ensure consistency in accounting processes and chart of accounts

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Coordination & Support

• Liaise with banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders for financial matters

• Support month-end closing and reporting processes

• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

• 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within multi-entity organizations

• Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, consolidation processes, and IFRS standards

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple entities and meet strict deadlines

• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork skills
