Senior Accountant

A company based in Dubai is urgently looking to hire a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience in UAE accounting practices and are confident in handling financial reporting and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing accounting operations efficiently while ensuring adherence to local financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other financial laws
• Monitor and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required

Key Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance practices is an added advantage
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
