Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Technopower Group is hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting activity and deliver reliable financial information from its Sharjah operations. The role combines hands-on transaction oversight with reporting, reconciliations, and financial control, helping management monitor performance and meet reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting processes and verify that transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and other recurring reports.
• Oversee payables, receivables, and cash flow tracking.
• Review budgets, expenditure, and financial results to identify material variances.
• Maintain reconciliations and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing records and responding to information requests.
• Apply relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal financial controls.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting workflows and control procedures, and share useful financial analysis with management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Practical understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with careful attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing accounting priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Leadership capability suited to overseeing accounting activities.
