Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Matrix Finishes is seeking a Senior Accountant to run core finance operations for its trading and distribution business in Dubai Production City. The role combines hands-on accounting and reporting with oversight of inventory, tax compliance, cash flow, and audit preparation, giving management reliable financial information for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and produce accurate financial statements in line with applicable reporting standards.
• Prepare management information reports, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analysis for business leaders.
• Manage receivables, payables, and working capital, highlighting relevant movements and risks.
• Maintain inventory accounts, review stock valuation, and strengthen related internal controls.
• Record and reconcile intercompany activity and support transfer pricing processes.
• Assist with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate external audit requests and maintain complete accounting records in ODOO ERP.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or M.Com in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• At least 10 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a Senior Accountant position.
• Experience working in the UAE trading and distribution sector.
• Strong working knowledge of ODOO ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Sound understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, statutory compliance, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and transfer pricing activities.
• CA Inter, ACCA, or CMA qualification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
