Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, target-driven Sales Representative to accelerate market penetration and commercial distribution of our premium roasted and instant coffee portfolios. Your primary objective is to cultivate highly profitable accounts across retail chains, wholesale networks, corporate offices, and hospitality venues (HORECA). This position bridges aggressive field business development with consistent account management. You will optimize daily delivery tracks, execute eye-catching product merchandising setups, and drive consumer brand activations to maximize shelf velocity. The role demands an articulate, highly persuasive field professional who possesses a deep understanding of fast-moving beverage dynamics and thrives under independent territory growth pressures.

Scope of Responsibilities

Territory Expansion & Revenue Generation

  • Cultivate and secure sustainable sales volumes for the company’s instant and roasted coffee lines across retail, wholesale, and corporate buying pools.
  • Identify, map, and pitch to high-value prospective corporate clients and hospitality buyers to secure new distribution contracts.
  • Conduct structured daily field visits to key store accounts to lock in consistent re-order volumes and build corporate rapport.
  • Negotiate strategic product pricing tiers, bulk volume discounts, and dominant shelf placements within established company guidelines.
  • Track inventory rotation profiles on-site at customer outlets, scheduling quick restock cycles to eliminate out-of-stock events.

Client Management & Brand Experience

  • Deliver premium customer support, providing fast, technical product explanations and addressing account concerns immediately.
  • Monitor product delivery timelines closely, tracking order pipelines from early warehouse dispatch through to client verification.
  • Investigate and settle account delivery complaints or order discrepancies gracefully, maintaining positive corporate partnerships.
  • Collect and structure client feedback regarding package preferences, feeding vital field observations back to senior management teams.

Brand Promotion & Trade Merchandising

  • Coordinate and run engaging coffee tastings, store product demonstrations, regional exhibitions, and trade fair activations.
  • Deploy dominant product merchandising displays at consumer touchpoints, maximizing brand visibility and product presentation assets.
  • Support localized social media campaigns and digital promotions, actively building community buzz around the coffee brand.
  • Monitor competitor pricing adjustments, retail promotional pushes, and alternative beverage launches to maintain a market advantage.

Financial Audits & Sales Administration

  • Build and manage daily geographic route schedules to minimize vehicle costs and maximize client face-time.
  • Balance daily transaction worksheets, matching physical order dispatches with customer receipts and invoice balances.
  • Support debt recovery workflows, working diligently with client accounts to clear outstanding balances within credit timelines.
  • Compile clear daily, weekly, and monthly activity matrices, detailing client acquisition successes and overall volume growth.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum Entry Criteria

  • Academic Foundation: Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a matching commercial discipline. Supplementary certifications in customer management are a distinct advantage.
  • Beverage Longevity: Minimum of 3 years of progressive, verified performance within FMCG sales, with a deep preference for professionals holding a background in coffee, tea, or beverage distribution.
  • Target Achievement: Proven history of meeting or exceeding strict monthly volume milestones and retail account conversion metrics.
  • Digital Literacy: Clear proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) to compile field metrics and manage customer data logs.
