Role Overview
As a Sales Executive, you will build a pipeline of prospective buyers, understand their property needs, and help them move from first enquiry to completed purchase. You will promote residential, serviced land, commercial, and other assigned investment opportunities across the Vipingo portfolio, contributing to revenue, property sales, and a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and qualify prospective clients through referrals, networking, brokers, corporate and institutional contacts, digital channels, events, and direct outreach, while also working company-provided leads.
- Manage prospects through each stage of the sales pipeline, respond promptly, arrange follow-ups, conduct client consultations, and work towards individual sales targets.
- Present relevant properties and investment opportunities, lead showroom appointments and site visits, and explain product features, pricing, payment plans, and purchase steps accurately.
- Negotiate within approved commercial terms, secure required approvals before discussing exceptions, and guide clients through booking, documentation, payment, and transaction completion.
- Maintain complete, up-to-date CRM records, including lead sources, response times, pipeline stages, next steps, client documents, and sales activity reports.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Collections, Customer Experience, and other teams to progress transactions, follow up on customer payments, and escalate delays or at-risk deals.
- Develop referral and business relationships with brokers, agents, customers, banks, Saccos, corporates, institutional partners, and diaspora networks; share relevant customer and market insights with management.
- Support launches, exhibitions, roadshows, sales activations, and corporate engagements, while keeping sales centres, showrooms, project materials, and show units ready for client visits.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management, with evidence of generating and converting business.
- Experience in real estate, banking, insurance, hospitality, or another target-driven sales setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage a pipeline, from lead generation and conversion through to payment follow-up.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused and professional approach.
- Well-organised and self-directed, with sound time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications; training in sales, marketing, or customer relationship management is an advantage.
