Our client, a premier and rapidly expanding hospitality destination in the coastal region, is looking for a commercially-minded Restaurant Manager. This role is designed for a hands-on leader capable of managing a large-scale operation that integrates fine dining, high-traffic events, and professional conferencing. You will be responsible for the full operational spectrum, with a primary focus on driving revenue and ensuring that every guest experience aligns with the brand’s commitment to excellence. Operational Deliverables
Strategic Growth & Financial Performance

Take full ownership of monthly sales targets, implementing aggressive marketing and sales initiatives to increase footfall and repeat business.

Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed operational reports for management review, identifying areas for cost optimization.

Oversee rigorous inventory control and stock management systems to minimize waste and protect the bottom line.

Monitor and manage the cost-of-sales (COS) to ensure the restaurant maintains healthy profit margins across all offerings.
Service Excellence & Team Leadership

Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen, floor staff, and conferencing teams.

Supervise and mentor a diverse workforce, instilling a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and guest satisfaction.

Handle customer feedback with a professional, problem-solving approach, ensuring that service recovery is swift and effective.

Maintain uncompromising standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and full compliance with regional health and safety regulations.
Event & Conference Integration

Oversee the successful execution of on-site events and corporate conferences, ensuring F&B services are delivered on time and within specification.

Collaborate with the marketing team to position the facility as a top-tier destination for local and international clientele.

Coordinate logistics for high-capacity bookings, managing staff allocation to ensure service standards do not dip during peak periods.
Requirements & Competencies
Professional Background

Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

Academic Baseline: KCSE minimum grade of C+ and above.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a busy, high-capacity restaurant environment.

Sector Familiarity: Proven experience serving a diverse or local coastal clientele is highly preferred.
