Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Research & Corporate Communications, the Research & Data Analytics Officer is responsible for driving data-informed decision-making and fostering a culture of innovation across the organization. This role leads market research, data analysis, innovation initiatives, and reporting to generate actionable insights that support marketing strategy, customer segmentation, campaign effectiveness, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research, in-depth competitor analysis, and regular customer satisfaction studies to inform marketing strategy and business decisions.
- Design and implement advanced customer segmentation models, uncover behavioral insights, and identify emerging market trends.
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer acquisition initiatives, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Build interactive dashboards and comprehensive performance reports to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
- Generate actionable insights to influence product development, pricing strategies, and communication plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive innovation by researching and piloting new marketing technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and insights to the marketing leadership team.
- Perform any other duty as assigned in line with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Google Analytics, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in statistical and visualization tools.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in market research, business intelligence, customer insights, or data analytics, preferably in financial services.
- Experience conducting market research, customer satisfaction surveys, and competitor analysis.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Experience building dashboards and management reports using business intelligence tools.
