Description:
Al Zahra Private Hospital Dubai is currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Midwife to join its maternity care team. This opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals who are passionate about supporting women throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postnatal care while delivering exceptional patient-centered services.
The successful candidate will become part of a respected healthcare institution committed to providing high-quality maternity services and ensuring safe, positive, and memorable childbirth experiences for mothers and their families. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional midwifery care to expectant mothers throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postnatal period.
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during pregnancy and childbirth, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
• Assist in normal and assisted deliveries while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Support mothers and families through education, guidance, and emotional care before, during, and after childbirth.
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, nurses, pediatric teams, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive maternity services.
• Assess patient conditions and respond effectively to any changes or complications during labor and delivery.
• Promote evidence-based maternity practices and ensure compliance with hospital policies, DHA regulations, and quality standards.
• Provide breastfeeding support and postnatal education to mothers and families.
• Maintain a compassionate, respectful, and supportive environment that enhances the patient experience.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities and contribute to maintaining excellence in maternity care services.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or Nursing with a Midwifery specialization.
• Valid DHA License as a Registered Midwife.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a Labor and Delivery Unit in the UAE.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on experience managing Water Birth procedures.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
