Role Overview
This is a hybrid front-of-house and marketing position for someone who can comfortably switch between greeting walk-in guests and running the company's digital presence. On any given day you might be coordinating a meeting room booking, then turning around to draft a blog post, schedule social content, and follow up with a prospect who responded to an outreach email. The employer needs one reliable person to own first impressions at reception while also building the pipeline that keeps the sales conversation moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the company's first point of contact — receiving visitors, answering and routing switchboard calls, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier items.
- Keep the reception area orderly and presentable, and coordinate meeting schedules and appointment calendars for management and other departments.
- Deliver day-to-day administrative backing to management and operational teams, including document handling and general office coordination.
- Run a structured content calendar across the company's social channels, publishing written posts, articles, newsletters, graphics, and short-form video.
- Produce marketing collateral using standard design and editing software alongside AI-assisted writing and editing tools, keeping everything aligned to brand guidelines.
- Track engagement and traffic metrics per channel and compile performance reports for management review.
- Research target customer segments and open conversations through cold calls, cold email, social selling, and networking, maintaining a clean prospect database.
- Draft, refine, and send proposals and marketing materials with management input, then follow up on submitted proposals, renewals, and potential upsell or referral opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Additional training: Certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, or Graphic/Video Production is an advantage.
- Experience: At least 5 years of combined experience spanning front-office or reception management, digital marketing, business development, and public relations.
- Digital toolkit: Hands-on ability with social media management platforms, basic video editing software, blogging tools, and AI-assisted content creation.
- Communication: Strong written and spoken English, sufficient for drafting client proposals and representing the company in outbound correspondence.
- Commercial instinct: Demonstrated record of prospecting, outbound outreach, and managing client relationships through to meeting or renewal.
