Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer)

Role Overview

Rukn Al Eurubih Contracting LLC is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and cost-control work of construction projects in Dubai. You’ll track quantities and costs from tender preparation through project delivery, helping the team assess payments, manage changes, and maintain reliable financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure work from construction drawings and prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities, estimates, and tender pricing.
• Assess progress payment applications and check reported quantities against completed work.
• Review subcontractor quotations and compare their pricing and measured quantities.
• Evaluate variations and assist with preparing and settling final accounts.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents when assessing project scope and costs.
• Support project cost monitoring and produce accurate commercial and cost reports on schedule.
• Coordinate with project teams and maintain clear, up-to-date cost and contract documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least four years of quantity surveying experience in the UAE or wider GCC region.
• Practical experience with quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimates, and tender pricing.
• Ability to assess payment applications, variations, final accounts, and subcontractor quotations.
• Confident reading construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements, and verifying work quantities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for working with project teams.
