Project Officer

Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading healthcare projects centered on CTC initiatives from initial planning through final delivery. You will coordinate across clinical, administrative, and technical teams, ensuring that each project meets its objectives within an environment where accuracy and compliance directly affect patient outcomes. Your work will support the organization's ability to improve care processes and implement critical systems without disrupting daily healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definitions, schedules, resource allocation, and milestones for CTC-related healthcare initiatives.
• Coordinate with clinical staff, IT teams, and external vendors to align project deliverables with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Track project progress against established timelines and budgets, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, documenting decisions, action items, and updates for stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
• Manage changes to project scope or objectives through a structured change control process, ensuring impacts are communicated clearly.
• Ensure project documentation supports compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA or other applicable regulations.
• Lead post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and translate them into actionable improvements for future initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of project management experience, with preference for candidates whose experience is in a healthcare setting.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is desirable, or active pursuit of either certification is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches, and proficiency with scheduling and reporting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to translate technical requirements for clinical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory constraints, and the importance of data integrity in clinical or patient-facing projects.
