Project Manager

Role Overview

This position is embedded within the Innovation team and centers on turning high-level strategic goals into tangible, delivered outcomes. You will spend your days coordinating across business and technology stakeholders, maintaining detailed delivery plans, anticipating roadblocks, and ensuring teams stay aligned and productive. Your ability to blend structured project management with Agile coaching will directly influence how quickly the organization adopts new technologies, automations, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end, from initial scoping through closure, while keeping objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables clearly defined and visible.
• Work with sponsors and business leaders to translate ambiguous goals into measurable success criteria and actionable execution plans.
• Establish steady communication rhythms with stakeholders, including regular status updates, escalation paths, and decision-focused workshops.
• Coach project teams on Agile and Scrum practices, helping them refine ceremonies, improve velocity, and internalize iterative delivery habits.
• Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation—schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans—using Smartsheet or similar platforms.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, sprint reviews, and planning sessions that move work forward and surface risks early.
• Proactively track and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), intervening to remove obstacles before they stall progress.
• Serve as the bridge between delivery teams and senior leadership, translating technical and operational status into clear, executive-level narratives.
• Integrate AI-driven tools and automation into project workflows, continually looking for ways to cut manual overhead and accelerate outcomes.
• Champion organizational change by aligning cross-departmental teams around common goals and ensuring adoption of new processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional corporate experience, with 3+ years specifically managing cross-functional projects.
• Demonstrated success operating within Agile/Scrum software development environments, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative releases.
• Strong command of project planning, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and change management methodologies.
• Hands-on proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or comparable platforms.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to audiences ranging from individual contributors to executives.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting without losing attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a structured, organized approach to delivery.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, automate routine tasks, or improve project visibility.
• Comfort with learning new technologies and business processes quickly and pragmatically.
• A PMP or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential is preferred, as is a bachelor's degree. Experience supporting digital transformation, process improvement, or technology-driven initiatives is a plus.
