Project Director / Construction Director / Project Manager

Role Overview

Lead the delivery of major high-rise and mid-rise building projects in Dubai, guiding work from planning through construction and completion. Depending on the position, you will set project direction or manage day-to-day execution, balancing programme, budget, quality and safety while coordinating the teams and stakeholders needed to keep delivery on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct project planning and construction activities across all phases of large building developments.
• Track schedules, budgets, workforce and other resources, taking action when performance departs from the plan.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams to resolve issues and align decisions.
• Maintain compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, quality requirements and safety rules.
• Assess delivery risks, identify emerging problems and put practical mitigation measures in place.
• Lead and support project personnel, setting priorities and helping teams meet construction milestones.
• Use project controls and progress reporting to inform stakeholders about performance and delivery concerns.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Established experience in a comparable senior construction, project management or project leadership position.
• A successful record delivering large-scale high-rise and mid-rise building projects.
• Previous construction experience in the GCC is mandatory.
• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong command of construction planning, project execution and contract management.
• Working knowledge of building quality controls, site safety requirements and project controls.
• Demonstrated leadership, sound decision-making and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication and effective stakeholder coordination skills.
