Role Overview
The Production Operations Officer keeps day-to-day banking operations accurate, controlled, and responsive for every customer segment the bank serves. The role handles account setup and ongoing maintenance, then activates and configures service channels so customers can access banking without avoidable friction. This work matters because reliable account data and properly configured channels reduce operational risk, protect service quality, and support a smooth customer experience.

- Process account opening requests and lifecycle maintenance across all customer segments, verifying applications and capturing details accurately.
- Review submitted applications and supporting documents for completeness, consistency, and adherence to operational rules before activation or submission.
- Activate and configure service channels so customers can use banking services without unnecessary delays or manual workarounds.
- Maintain account static data, mandates, limits, and service preferences, correcting discrepancies and escalating exceptions where needed.
- Interpret operational reports and transaction data to identify failed activations, incomplete maintenance, or recurring errors, then drive resolution with relevant teams.
- Keep clear, audit-ready records of actions, decisions, and customer communications to support compliance and internal standards.
- Work with colleagues across service, compliance, technology, and relationship teams to remove blockers and keep service delivery smooth.
- Adapt to process, system, and product changes, applying new procedures accurately and contributing ideas to improve operational workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–2 years of banking operations experience.
- Practical knowledge of account opening and maintenance procedures.
- Experience with application and submission verification, including checking documents and data against defined requirements.
- Ability to document facts accurately and maintain strong audit trails.
- Comfort examining information and interpreting data to solve operational problems.
- Confidence interacting with people at different levels and explaining process requirements clearly.
- Ability to embrace change and learn new systems, products, and procedures in a fast-moving operations environment.
