Description:
Al Nawras Safety & Security Systems is looking for an experienced Procurement Executive to join its team in Sharjah. This position is ideal for professionals with a solid procurement background who can efficiently manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and material coordination for ongoing projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the complete procurement cycle, from sourcing reliable suppliers and negotiating commercial terms to ensuring timely material deliveries and maintaining accurate procurement records. Applicants with experience in the MEP, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Safety & Security Systems, or construction sector will be highly preferred.
The company offers a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities to contribute to large-scale Safety & Security Systems projects across the United Arab Emirates. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage purchase requests received from Engineering and Maintenance teams.
• Source qualified local and international suppliers while obtaining competitive quotations.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and prepare detailed techno-commercial comparison reports.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements.
• Prepare and issue Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Local Purchase Orders (LPOs).
• Coordinate procurement activities with Engineering, Projects, Inventory, Finance, and Site Operations.
• Monitor material deliveries and maintain accurate delivery tracking records.
• Generate Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and ensure procurement documentation is complete.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain warranty certificates, technical documents, and compliance records.
• Support Testing & Commissioning activities and arrange supplier participation during Civil Defense and Consultant inspections.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers based on quality standards, certifications, Civil Defense approvals, and commercial capabilities.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed for all purchased materials.
• Maintain organized procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier and material codes, and other management reports.
• Handle urgent purchasing requirements while ensuring compliance with company procedures and project budgets.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Professional procurement or supply chain certifications will be considered an advantage.
• 4–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Previous experience in MEP, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Safety & Security Systems, or the construction industry is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Sound knowledge of procurement procedures, purchasing documentation, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities efficiently while working under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Procurement processes and purchasing documentation.
• ERP systems and procurement reporting.
• Supplier evaluation, QA/QC standards, and commercial negotiations.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE will be given preference.
